One of the oldest and most historic links in the world, North Berwick enjoys both a stellar golfing reputation and a rich history.

The club, situated on Scotland's 'golf coast' in East Lothian, was founded in 1832, making it one of the world's oldest, and throughout its history North Berwick has proudly hosted Championship golf.

The links venue has hosted Final Qualifying for The Open Championship six times, the first being 50 years ago in 1972, and also hosted the Women's Amateur Championship in 2008, won coincidentally by defending AIG Women's Open Champion Anna Nordqvist.

North Berwick will host Final Qualifying for the AIG Women's Open on August 1, with the successful qualifiers travelling to join Nordqvist and company at neighbouring Muirfield for the 2022 edition of the Championship.
