Are tickets still on sale for the AIG Women’s Open?
Tickets for the AIG Women's Open at Muirfield are on sale and can be purchased online at www.aigwomensopen.com/tickets-and-hospitality, or over the phone with a member of our Ticketing Team on +44 (0) 1334 460 010. Tickets will not be purchasable online on the day; however, tickets can be purchased up until 5pm BST the day before play. Please note tickets will be available for purchase at the main entrance, subject to availability
Can I purchase tickets at the gate?
Unfortunately tickets will not be available to purchase at the gates for the AIG Women’s Open. Tickets can be purchased up until 5pm BST the day before play, online or over the phone, subject to availability.
Can I purchase tickets to attend the practice days of the AIG Women’s Open?
No, spectators will be not be able to attend the practice days of the AIG Women’s Open this year (with or without tickets).
Can I purchase hospitality for the AIG Women’s Open?

I have purchased tickets, when will they arrive?
This year, all tickets will be issued digitally. All ticketholders will be notified by SMS, or via a notification within the AIG Women’s Open Tickets App, when tickets have been distributed. Further information regarding digital tickets can be found here. 
Who should I contact if I have a problem with my tickets or the app?

I do not have a smartphone, how can I access my tickets?
If you are attending the AIG Women’s Open and do not have a smartphone, you will need to go to the onsite Ticket Office to gain entry to the event. Please bring a proof of purchase (such as the PDF File Recap you received when you purchased the tickets) and a form of ID (such as a driving license or bank card).
My tickets were gifted to me and I do not have a smartphone, how do I access my tickets?
If you are not the original purchaser of the ticket and you do not have a smartphone, please contact the Ticket Office at Tickets@AIGWomensOpen.com or call the team on +44 (0)1334 460010 for further advice regarding how to access your ticket.
How does the 'Kids Go Free' policy work?
All tickets for Juniors (Under 16-years-old as of Wednesday 19th of August) are free of charge. However, all Juniors must have a valid course admission ticket in order to attend the AIG Women’s Open and be accompanied by a responsible adult who also holds a ticket. Junior tickets can be acquired as part of the online ticket purchase journey on AIGWomensOpen.com.

Do you have a concession rate for persons over 65 years of age?

We do not offer any concessions for persons over 65 years of age. We offer Adult, Youth (16-25) and Junior (under 16) rates only, in addition to Four-Day Passes and Weekend Tickets.

Do I need to purchase a Parking Pass for the event?

Parking at the AIG Women’s Open will be complimentary and we will encourage driving to Muirfield for spectators wherever possible. Please follow all signage to the event where parking attendants will direct you to the appropriate parking.

I require Accessible Parking for the event - can I book this in advance?

Parking at the AIG Women’s Open cannot be booked in advance. Please follow all signage to the event and advise the parking attendants upon arrival that you require Accessible Parking. Upon presentation of your Blue Badge, the attendants will direct you to the Accessible Parking for the event.

If I want to leave the Championship and return later in the day, is this possible?

For the AIG Women’s Open, all ticketholders will be able to leave the Championship and return later in the day, as long as it is the same person returning, and they can present a valid ticket and untampered wristband upon re-entry. 

I can no longer attend. Can tickets be returned?

If you wish to cancel your order you may do so by informing us within 48 hours of purchase. If you would like to be considered as an exception to the above policy, please contact us at Tickets@AIGWomensOpen.com, explaining your circumstances.

Can I purchase tickets to the AIG Women's Open from another website?

The only official sources of tickets for the AIG Women’s Open are via AIGWomensOpen.com. Any tickets made available on websites such as Viagogo, Safetickets.net, Stubhub, eBay or Gumtree are not done so with the permission of The R&A and are subject to unregulated pricing. We have also encountered issues in the past in which photoshopped tickets or cancelled tickets were sold via these platforms. We strongly recommend that customers do not purchase tickets from third party re-sellers as tickets sold on these sites are likely to be refused entry to the Championship.  

Digital Tickets and The app

Who should I contact if I have a problem with my tickets or the AIGWO Tickets App?
If you are experiencing problems with your digital tickets or the App, please contact us by email at Tickets@AIGWomensOpen.com or by phone at +44 (0) 1334 460 010, and a member of our team will be delighted to assist you.
Do I need an internet connection?

Yes, you will need an internet connection to receive and activate your tickets. Should there be no reliable 4G signal in the area, complimentary WIFI will be available at the venue if required.
Tip: Before you arrive, open the ticket(s) in your app to activate them.

The QR code is not showing on my ticket. Is my ticket valid? 

Yes, your ticket QR code will become active within 24 hours of gates opening on the day of your attendance. Tip: Before you arrive, open the ticket(s) in your app to activate them.

I have purchased several tickets for the AIG Women’s Open, should I transfer the additional tickets to my party or can I keep them on my phone? 

We strongly recommend that all ticket holders possess their own digital ticket on their own smartphone where possible, for speedy entry to the venue. Therefore, if you have purchased tickets on behalf of guests, family or friends, you may transfer each additional ticket to the individual they are intended for, ahead of the event. However, you may hold multiple tickets on your device for entry if you are unable to transfer to individuals.

What if the person I am transferring tickets to doesn’t have a smartphone?

If you are attending the AIG Women’s Open with a guest, friend or family member who does not have a smartphone, you may retain their ticket on your device for entry.

Can I keep any additional junior tickets on my smartphone? 

Yes, there is no requirement to transfer any junior tickets you have on your smartphone. 

I have purchasedtickets for the AIG Women’s Open, but don’t have access to a smartphone. How doI access my tickets?
For any spectator attending the AIG Women’s Open that does not have access to a smartphone, please come to the on-site Ticket Office to gain entry to the event.
The lead purchaser of the group must accompany you and provide the following:

1) Proof of purchase (e.g. a printed email/ printed file recap document).

If you had tickets purchased for you and the lead purchaser will not be in attendance to provide proof of purchase, please contact us to discuss your entry process.

2) Some form of ID (e.g. driver’s license or bank card).

Please note that if you are required to come to the on-site Ticket Office, it may result in slower entry at peak times.

CanI send tickets to my guests, friends or family?

Yes, you can securely send your tickets to a guest, friend or family member by using the transfer functionality in the app. The person you are transferring tickets to must have the AIGWO Tickets app downloaded and created an account ahead of the transfer.

How can I transfer tickets?

To transfer a ticket, select the ticket you wish to send and press the ‘Transfer’ button on the top of the ticket. Please remember that the person you are transferring the ticket to must have the app downloaded and have created an account in advance of the transfer.

Select “Transfer”. If you have given the app access to contacts, any contact who has the app will appear under “My Contacts with App”. You can then easily transfer a ticket to them by selecting their name.

If the individual does not have an account on the app, you will need to invite them to download the app using “Invite Contact”. When they register within the app, you will then be able to transfer the ticket to them. If they are not a contact in your phone, you may also use the “Send via Phone Number” option. 

When can I transfer tickets?
You can transfer your tickets any time from when you receive your tickets, prior to entering the venue.
How will my recipient know I sent tickets?

After your guest, friend or family member has downloaded and registered the AIGWO Tickets app, they will receive a notification informing them that they have received a ticket. This ticket will then be displayed within their app, showing in their name.  

I have a 4-Day or Weekend ticket – how can different people use it on different days?

Yes, you will be able to transfer the ticket between guests using the transfer feature in the AIGWO Tickets app. The ticket can be transferred from you to your guest for one day of the championship, and they will be able to transfer it back to you (or another guest) following their entry to the event, for use the following day. Each ticket may only be scanned for entry once per day.

I made a mistake – how do I cancel a ticket transfer?

Can I transfer a ticket to a non-UK telephone number?

Yes, if they have the app and are in your phone contacts, their name will appear in “My Contacts with App”. If they are not a contact, you will need to ensure you have selected the correct country code before entering the mobile number using the  “Send via phone number” option. 

Entering the venue

How should I prepare my smartphone to enter the venue?

The battery of your phone should be charged, your phone brightness should be at full and you should enable your internet connection. Please note that there will be complimentary WiFi at the venue if required. 

How to enter the venue with digital tickets? 

At the entrance, simply present your smart phone with your ticket displaying the QR code. To protect your tickets, please note that the QR code will only activate and be visible up to 24 hours before the gates open on the day of your attendance.

Can I use a screenshot of my ticket?

No, screenshots of tickets will not be accepted. Active tickets display a unique entry code that will not be captured by a screen shot. Tickets must be presented within the app. Copies of any QR codes issued through third-party organisations, screenshots or print-outs will not be accepted at the venue.

What do I do if my mobile device’s battery runs out? 

Please make sure you arrive at the venue with your smartphone battery charged. You will not be able to show your tickets without battery. If your phone has run out of battery or you have any issues displaying your tickets, please go to the on-site ticket office where they will be able to assist you.
