The festival village at the 2023 AIG Women

Whether you’re a golf nut or a total newcomer to the sport, there will be something for everyone at the 2023 AIG Women’s Open – including a vibrant and welcoming festival fan village.

The most international women's major, the AIG Women’s Open will attract 144 of the world’s best players to Walton Heath, from 9-13 August.

While elite-level golf is the centrepiece, there will be so much more happening in the stunning Surrey surroundings, with the festival fan village promising to be one of the liveliest areas across the whole weekend.

The village will feature a festival stage, hosting live music, Q&As with inspiring women, documentary screenings, and interviews with players, not to mention engaging discussions with leading names from the worlds of sport, entertainment and business.

You can view the full festival line-up here.

Foodies will be in their element thanks to tasty offerings from a range of exciting, passionate and diverse street food traders.

There will be big screens aplenty so you can stay in touch with the golf as well as action from the quarter finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

A ‘Golf It!’ zone will contain fun golf activities to introduce visitors to the sport while interactive golf experiences, including VR and e-sports, should also whet the appetite.

The village is completed by a number of shops and bars to keep you occupied away from the action on the course.

Meanwhile Ellie Goulding will be in attendance at Walton Heath as the pop superstar headlines a concert after the golf finishes on Saturday 12 August, with support from BRIT-nominated, platinum-selling singer-songwriter Freya Ridings.

So with so much going on, why not come for the golf – and stay for the party.
