Fans can immerse themselves in a fun-filled festival of golf when the world’s best players descend on Royal Porthcawl for the 2025 AIG Women’s Open.

The fan village, which this year will host the players’ short game practice area, will be a hive of activity with fun and entertainment for all ages when the Championship takes place from 30 July to 3 August.

The world-class golf on display will almost certainly give you the itch to pick up a club and swing, and that’s where our ‘Golf It!’ zone comes in.
This will be at the heart of our packed fan village and can best be described as a golfing funfair guaranteed to get the good times going.
The mini-golf set up is always a big draw, and each hole will have its own unique theme to tackle – perfect for showcasing an accurate short game.
Whether you’re an aspiring big hitter, you’re already driving the ball miles, or you just want to hone your swing, head over to the hitting bays and tee it up yourself.
If all that whets the appetite you can book a free coaching session with a PGA professional who’ll show you how to get your swing going.

The AIG Women’s Open shop always goes down a treat, and this year the shelves will be stacked and the rails packed.
You’ll have a range of progressive adidas clothing and apparel to browse, and a selection of souvenirs to pick up if you’re looking for a keepsake to remember the week by.
Foodies will be in their element thanks to tasty offerings from a selection of exciting, passionate and diverse street food traders – perfect for fuelling up for a day on the links.
Free water refilling stations will be available across the site, with reusable stainless steel water bottles available to buy. You’re also welcome to bring your own from home.
Worth noting, the AIG Women’s Open will be operated as a cashless site and only credit or debit cards can be used to purchase goods.
There will be a stellar range of activities for all the family to enjoy throughout the AIG Women’s Open.
As the world’s best golfers compete for the AIG Women’s Open trophy, families will be able to go in search of their own treasure. Treasure Hunt trail maps will be available from the fan village reception, before sending participants searching high and low across the links.
Family games – including shuffleboard – will also be running, so there will always be plenty of bragging rights to play for while nature trails will be taking place throughout the Championship with fun opportunities for fans young and old.
