St Annes Old Links and Delamere Forest will host qualifying events as golfers from across the globe aim to earn their place at the 2026 AIG Women’s Open.
Pre-Qualifying will take place over 18 holes at Delamere Forest on Monday 13 July before Final Qualifying is held at St Annes Old Links two weeks later, on Monday 27 July.
Players who progress through Pre-Qualifying will compete at Final Qualifying for the chance to tee it up when the 50th edition of the AIG Women’s Open is staged at Royal Lytham & St Annes from 29 July to 2 August.
Delamere Forest has hosted Pre-Qualifying in each of the past two years, and is known for its fast fairways and its challenging elevation changes. Ahead of Royal Porthcawl in 2025, major winner Danielle Kang was among the players who progressed through Pre-Qualifying there, while Fernanda Lira-Shuttleworth led the way with a hugely impressive seven-under-par round of 64.
Founded in 1901, St Annes Old Links has previously welcomed qualifying events for the AIG Women's Open and The Open, while co-hosting The Amateur Championship in 2022 with neighbours Royal Lytham & St Annes.
