Brooke Henderson

A two-time major winner, Brooke Henderson is among the best golfers in the world - and with 13 LPGA titles, she is the most successful Canadian professional golfer in history.

Henderson triumphed at the Women’s PGA Championship in 2016, aged just 18. She followed that up with victory in the Evian Championship last year; these two wins among 15 top-10 finishes in majors.

Before turning professional, Henderson won the Canadian Amateur in 2013 and lost on the final green of the following season’s US Amateur, then having to wait only two years to taste major success in the professional game. Her play-off victory over Lydia Ko at the 2016 PGA Championship made her the event’s youngest-ever winner and the second-youngest at any of the women’s majors (Ko was five months younger when she lifted the Evian Championship trophy in 2015).

Henderson’s first success on the LPGA Tour came at the Cambia Portland Classic in 2015, when she was 17. Only Ko and Lexi Thompson had achieved victories at an earlier age.

The now-25-year-old represented Canada at the 2016 and 2021 Olympics.
