Yamashita has been remarkably prolific on the LPGA Tour of Japan, following up her maiden win in April 2021 with nine further triumphs between May 2022 and June 2023.

Those results lifted the Japanese into the world's top 20, while she also performed impressively on her AIG Women's Open debut at Muirfield last year, finishing 13th.
