Perrine Delacour

Perrine Delacour comes into the AIG Women’s Open in fine fettle after finishing 11th in the Women’s PGA Championship in June, her best placing in a major tournament.

Winner of the 2009 British Girls Amateur Championship title and a semi-finalist at the British Ladies Amateur three years later, Delacour turned professional the following season after becoming one of four amateurs to make it through the LPGA Tour qualifying school.

She shot a tournament record 10-under-par 62 at the 2017 Manulife Classic, but it was on the 2019 Symetra Tour that she really made her mark, winning twice in becoming their Player of the Year.

Delacour represented France alongside Celine Boutier at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, nine years after they were team-mates at the Espirito Santo World Amateur Team Championships.
