Se Ri Pak

Se Ri Pak with the AIG Women

In 2001, Se Ri Pak won the first ever edition of the AIG Women's Open to be recognised as a major for the entire women's game. The South Korean fired a sensational 66 around Sunningdale in the final round to storm through the field and win by two strokes over her compatriot Mi Hyun Kim.

Pak's career was exceptional from the beginning, and by the time she began playing on the LPGA Tour she was a 12-time winner on the LPGA of Korea Tour. That experience showed, as Pak's first two wins in her rookie campaign on the LPGA in 1998 were major championships.

In total Pak won 5 major titles and 25 LPGA Tour titles, getting elected into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2007.
