So close to winning a medal for India at last year’s Olympic Games. Lying second after each of the opening three rounds she produced a closing three under par 68 but needed a 67 to be in a play-off with Mone Inami and Lydia Ko for silver and bronze.
Twice represented her country in the Espirito Santo World Amateur Team Championships and won the British amateur stroke play title in 2015 before turning professional.
