Yes, you can securely send your AIG Women’s Open tickets to a guest, friend or family member by using the transfer functionality in the app and entering their email address.
Please make sure that you send any tickets in advance of arriving at the Championship.
To transfer a ticket, click on the three dots in the bottom right corner of the ticket, select ‘Transfer’, and entering the email address of the person you wish to transfer the ticket to. More detailed instructions can be found in the Digital Tickets page.
We strongly encourage all attendees to hold their own ticket on their own smartphone for security purposes and to speed up entry on arrival.
This can be done using the in-app transfer functionality to send any additional tickets to the other members of your party. We recommend transferring any tickets in advance of your arrival to avoid delays. See our Digital Tickets page for more instructions.
If you are attending the AIG Women’s Open with a guest, friend or family member who does not have access to a smartphone, tickets can be retained on a single attendee’s app.
If no one in your party has access to a smartphone, please come to the on-site Ticket Office with the lead purchaser and proof of purchase so that our team may assist you with entry.
If you are expecting to receive a transferred ticket but have not yet been notified by email, please check your email spam folder and contact the sender.
If you are still experiencing any issues, the sender can cancel the current ticket transfer, and then transfer the ticket to you again, being careful to send to the correct email address.

The R&A welcomes requests from individuals and charities who wish to raise funds for good causes, and as such donates a set number of tickets to AIG Women’s Open each year which can be used as auction or raffle items for this purpose.
All ticketholders will be able to leave the Championship and return later in the day.
When leaving, please collect a wristband from security personnel at the gate. Upon reentry, ensure to present the valid ticket and untampered wristband. Please note, the same person must exit and re-enter the venue.
The only official source of tickets is AIGWomensOpen.com. Any tickets made available on third party websites and resellers are not done so with the permission of The R&A and are subject to unregulated pricing.
We have encountered issues in the past in which counterfeit or cancelled tickets were sold via these platforms. We strongly recommend that customers do not purchase tickets from third party resellers as tickets sold on these sites are likely to be refused entry to the Championship.
At the entrance, simply present your smartphone with your ticket displaying the QR code.
Please note, you will not see the QR code until the ticket has activated, usually 24 hours before gates open. Ensure your device is switched on, is fully charged and the screen brightness is turned to full. If your phone’s battery has run out, please go to the on-site Ticket Office where they will be able to assist you.
Internet connectivity is required to download and activate the QR code, so be sure to do this before attending the venue as connectivity is not always reliable. Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available on-site, if required.
If you have previously downloaded your tickets in the AIGWO Tickets App, then your tickets can be displayed without any internet connection.
You will need an internet connection to activate the ticket in the app within 24 hours of your attendance. Since phone signal may be intermittent at the venue, we encourage you to download your tickets to your device before heading to the venue.
But please note that complimentary Wi-Fi will be available at the venue if required.
Please e-mail Tickets@AIGWomensOpen.com if you are having problems with your digital tickets or the app, and a member of our team will be happy to help.
