Arpichaya Yubol turned professional in 2017 at the age of 15 and achieved remarkable success on the Thai LPGA Tour the following year, winning five tournaments in a row and the season-long Order of Merit.

In 2022 she claimed a maiden victory on the Ladies European Tour Access Series, winning the Trust Golf Links Series - Musselburgh by five shots.

She then came through Q School to earn an LPGA Tour card for 2023, before finishing fifth - comfortably her best placing in a major to date - at the 2024 US Women's Open.

Yubol sealed her place at Royal Porthcawl courtesy of Final Qualifying at Pyle & Kenfig with a 3-under-par round of 68 - the joint second best score of the day.
