Brittany Altomare AIG Women

A member of the last two American Solheim Cup teams, partnering Lexi Thompson in foursomes both times and winning her two singles against Jodi Ewart Shadoff and Carlotta Ciganda. First represented her country against Europe when she was 15 in the 2006 Junior Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor, the one match in that series involving six boys and six girls to have ended in a tie.

Went on to attend the University of Virginia before turning professional in 2013. Yet to win on the LPGA Tour, but was so close to making her first win a major when, in 2017, she and Anna Nordqvist both came through the field from five strokes back with closing 66s at the Evian Championship in France. It was the Swede who took the title, however, when Altomare bogeyed the first play-off hole.
