Brooke Matthews established herself as one of the best amateur players in the world during her time at the University of Arkansas.

She set the record for the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) lowest 54-hole record of 25-under at the 2021 Cougar Classic, breaking the previous record by six strokes.

Long off the tee, Brooke was a member of USA’s successful Curtis Cup team in 2021, defeating 2023 Smyth Salver winner Charlotte Heath 3&2 in the singles.
