Finished joint third at Kingsbarns in 2017 behind winner In-Kyung Kim and Jodi Ewart Shadoff.

It was the second of three top seven placings she has had in the Championship – she actually led after the second and third rounds in 2011. Masson has also had two top 10s at the ANA Inspiration and four Solheim Cup appearances. She made her debut at the 2013 European victory in Colorado, winning twice with Carolina Hedwall and halving a foursomes with Catriona Matthew.

In 2017 she beat Michelle Wie in the singles. The 33-year-old German’s career also includes a victory on the Ladies European Tour at the 2012 South African Open and four years later LPGA Tour success in the Manulife Classic, where she finished one ahead of a group which included Minjee Lee.
