Chella Choi

Made an early vow on earning an LPGA Tour card in a Qualifying School play-off in 2008 that she would keep her father as her caddie until she tasted victory on the circuit.

It took her eight years and 157 events, but she finally did it at the 2015 Marathon Classic, where she got the better of compatriot Jang Ha-na in sudden death.

The wait had nearly ended three years earlier when she was in a four-way play-off for the Manulife Financial Classic, but Brittany Lang ultimately prevailed on that occasion.

Her best finish in a major was her third place at the 2017 PGA Championship, where she was joint leader with Danielle Kang with a round to go before Kang took the title with a closing 68 to her own 71.
