Galitsky earned her place at the AIG Women’s Open in March when she stormed to victory in the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship at the age of 16.

The teenager, who holds dual nationality of Thailand and Canada, expressed her delight at securing a trip to Walton Heath.

“I am looking forward to playing the AIG Women’s Open, as I feel like it is ‘the’ Championship for women’s golf,” said Galitsky. “Honestly, (playing in) any major would be great, but I just really like that one.”
