Erika Hara

Erika Hara is all set for her second taste of major links golf at Royal Lytham & St Annes having made her AIG Women’s Open debut in 2021 at Carnoustie.

The 27-year-old turned professional in 2018 and has since gone on to win five times on the Japan LPGA Tour – part of her eight professional wins.

Her first win came in 2019 at the Resort Trust Ladies before she landed her first Japan LPGA Tour major at the Japan Women’s Open Golf Championship the following year.

Another title followed a month later at the Japan LPGA Tour Championship Ricoh Cup before a second Japan Women’s Open Golf Championship came in 2023 – two years after her win at the Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open.

Erika's best LPGA major finish to date is T38 at the 2026 Chevron Championship.
