Finished fifth and third on her first two appearances in the AIG Women’s Open in 2007 and 2008 and had to wait only until the following year’s US Women's Open to become a major champion.
A 20-foot birdie putt on the final green at Saucon Valley gave her a one-stroke victory over Candie Kung. It was her second title on the LPGA Tour and there have been four more since then, most recently May’s Bank of Hope Match Play, securing her the final place in the US Women's Open a week later after her 10-year exemption for winning had run out.
That third place at Sunningdale 13 years ago remains her best AIG Women’s Open finish.
