Gaby Lopez

Gaby Lopez continued a trend of winning on the LPGA in two-year increments, adding to her wins in the 2018 Blue Bay tournament and the 2020 Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions with victory in the 2022 Dana Open, courtesy of a final-round 63, to win by one.

Her first two victories were also thrillers – she edged Ariya Jutanugarn by one and then won a six-hole play-off against Inbee Park and Nasa Hataoka.

Gaby's best major finish came when she finished T2 alongside Charley Hull at the 2026 US Women's Open at Riviera; the pair finishing just one stroke behind the winner, Nelly Korda.

She played college golf at the University of Arkansas and in 2015 was a runner-up in the NCAA individual championship, alongside Leona Maguire and one behind Emma Talley.

Royal Lytham & St Annes – to which Lopez qualified courtesy of her position on the 2025 LPGA Final CME Points List – will represent her 10th appearance at the AIG Women's Open. This comes after an impressive finish to the season which saw back-to-back top five finishes at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican and the CME Group Tour Championship.
