Haeran Ryu picked up her first major title by winning the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Hazeltine in June.

The Korean overturned a 10-stroke deficit from first-round leader Ina Yoon to edge her compatriot by two and claim her fifth – and biggest – victory on the LPGA Tour.

Her maiden Tour victory came in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in October 2023, while she has also won five times on the LPGA of Korea Tour.

Haeran finished T21 on her AIG Women’s Open debut in 2023, and was T23 at Royal Porthcawl in 2025.

Her spot at Royal Lytham & St Annes was secured courtesy of her position in the top 35 in the 2025 LPGA Final CME Points List.
