No Australian woman had won a major title since Karrie Webb in 2006 when Hannah Green arrived for the Women’s PGA Championship in 2019.
She led outright after each of the four rounds and lifted the trophy by a one-stroke margin over defending champion Sung Hyun Park. It was her first LPGA Tour win.
This victory lit the touchpaper for a run of continued success, with Hannah now able to celebrate eight LPGA wins.
Three of these came in 2024; she lifted the HSBC Women’s World Championship title in the March, retained the JM Eagle LA Championship in the April and then went wire-to-wire at the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea in October, becoming the first Australian since Webb in 2006 to win three times in a single season.
Hannah won three times on the spin in early 2026, at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, the Women's Australian Open and the Australian WPGA Championship.
She continued her hot streak by winning the 2026 JM Eagle LA Championship – her third success in four years – in April.
Hannah's best finish in the AIG Women’s Open was T16 in 2019.
