Hannah Green

Hannah Green
No Australian woman had won a major title since Karrie Webb in 2006 when Hannah Green arrived for the Women’s PGA Championship in 2019.

Green led outright after each of the four rounds and lifted the trophy by a one-stroke margin over defending champion Sung Hyun Park. It was her first LPGA Tour success.

This victory lit the touchpaper for a run of continued success, with Green now able to celebrate five LPGA wins. Two of these came in 2024; she lifted the HSBC Women’s World Championship title in March before retaining the JM Eagle LA Championship.

Green’s best finish in the AIG Women’s Open was T16 in 2019.
