Two months after becoming leading amateur with a brilliant 11th-place finish at June’s US Women's Open she produced a superb six under par 66 to finish second in Monday’s 18-hole qualifying tournament at North Berwick and so earn a third AIG Women’s Open start.
The 22-year-old played in the 2018 Junior Ryder Cup, then helped Sweden become European team champions the following two years.
The 2020 season was also memorable for her capturing two titles on the Nordic Tour, both achieved in play-offs after closing with two rounds of 65 each time.
Last year saw her become European amateur champion and in April she was runner-up to Ann Davis at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur tournament. Also reached second on the amateur world rankings behind Rose Zhang.
