Jenny Shin

Jenny Shin's family moved to America when she was nine and in 2006 she became the US girls' champion.

She turned professional four years later, but had to wait another six years for her first LPGA Tour victory. It came in the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout.

Four years earlier, though, she had been in a four-way play-off for the HSBC Champions, but it was Angela Stanford who took the title on the third extra hole.

Jenny's best major performance to date came in the 2017 AIG Women’s Open at Kingsbarns, where she finished sixth.

The 50th AIG Women’s Open will be her 16th appearance at the Championship with her other top-10 finishes in majors coming at the US Women’s Open (T10) in 2014 and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship (T8) nine years later.

Jenny arrives at Royal Lytham & St Annes in fine fettle, having won the ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open on the Sunday before the Championship.
