Linnea Strom

Linnea Strom

Linnea Strom hit the lowest final round by a winner in LPGA Tour history on her way to glory at the Shoprite Classic in New Jersey in June 2024.

Nine birdies and an eagle allowed the Swede to card an 11-under-par 60 to overcome an 11-stroke deficit and collect her maiden LPGA Tour title.

(Annika Sorenstam holds the record for the lowest round on the LPGA Tour; a 59 in the second round of the Standard Register PING in 2001.)

Strom won twice on the Epson Tour, the Sioux Falls GreatLIFE Challenge in 2018 and the IOA Championship in 2022.

She won gold with Marcus Kinhult in the mixed category of the 2014 Youth Olympics.

Strom reached the final of the Women's Amateur Championship in 2015, but was edged out by Celine Boutier.
