Liz Young

Young qualified for last year's AIG Women's Open by winning the 18-hole qualifying tournament at North Berwick with a spectacular seven-under-par 65.

She returns this year having broken her duck on the Ladies European Tour at September's VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open.

Young turned professional in 2009 having been English stroke play champion three years earlier and a member of Britain and Ireland’s 2008 Curtis Cup side at St Andrews, where, as Elizabeth Bennett, she faced Stacy Lewis in the concluding singles.

She came fourth in the Scottish Open in 2011. Took time off in 2016 after the birth of daughter Isabelle Mae.
