Olivia Cowan

Olivia Cowan

Olivia Cowan posted her best finish in a major, by far, in the AIG Women's Open in 2023, placing T9.

The German capped off a solid week by finding two birdies on the final three holes to sneak into the top 10.

Cowan collected 18 birdies across the four days but was derailed by a triple-bogey 7 at the 15th on the Saturday.

Royal Porthcawl is Olivia's ninth straight appearance in the Championship after she came through Final Qualifying at Pyle & Kenfig with her boyfriend on the bag.

A three-time winner on the Ladies European Tour Access Series, she picked up her maiden LET title in the shape of the Indian Open in October 2022.

Olivia won amateur titles in Spain, Portugal and Luxembourg as well as Germany.

She went on to represent Germany in the Espirito Santo Women’s World Amateur Team Championship and the Summer Youth Olympics in 2014, just missing out on a medal.
