Paula Reto

Won her first LPGA Tour title this August at the CP Women's Open, following in the footsteps of her fellow South African Ashleigh Buhai who won her first LPGA event at the AIG Women's Open at Muirfield earlier that month. Reto has continued her fine form with two top 10 finishes since then.

Was among the top 25 non-exempt players who earned places at Muirfield off this season’s LPGA Tour Order of Merit. Qualified for the circuit at her first attempt after finishing as the third leading individual at the 2013 NCAA college championship. The former Purdue University student represented South Africa in the 2016 Olympics and also qualified for the Games played in Japan last year, but had to withdraw because of Covid-19 protocols.

Her first professional victory came on home soil this February at the Sunshine Tour’s SuperSport Challenge, winning the 54-hole event by a comprehensive 10 strokes.
