Ruoning Yin

Yin became only the second major champion from China when she triumphed in this year’s KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

In a thrilling finish at Baltusrol, Yin birdied the last hole to edge out Yuka Saso by one.

The victory lifted the 20-year-old to fifth in the Rolex Rankings and she moved a place higher after tying for 20th in the US Women’s Open on her next start.

Yin is enjoying a fine season on the LPGA Tour, which also featured a victory at the DIO Implant LA Open in April.
