Ryann O'Toole

Having graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a degree in sociology, O'Toole turned professional in 2009 and the following year was one of the contestants in the reality television show “The Big Break”. She finished sixth out of 11 there, but in 2011 made an unbeaten Solheim Cup debut as a captain’s pick after coming joint ninth on her first major championship appearance at the US Women's Open.

She had to wait seven years to better that, however, with a joint sixth place in the Evian Championship and until August 2021 for her maiden LPGA Tour success, which came in the co-sanctioned Trust Golf Scottish Open at Dumbarnie Links, with Lydia Ko and Atthaya Thitikul three strokes back in joint second.
