Sanna Nuutinen equalled Seve Ballesteros’s course record (64) at Real Club de Golf Las Brisas during the Open de España in November 2023.

She represented Finland in the 2010 and 2012 Espirito Santo Women’s World Amateur Team Championship, helping them to a superb joint third-place on the second occasion in Turkey. They also won bronze and silver medals at the European Championship, where she was team captain.

Nuutinen turned professional after playing college golf in Texas and was twice runner-up at the LET’s Finnish Open as well as at the Czech Open.

She was back wearing national colours at Tokyo 2020, finishing joint 20th, and then came through qualifying school to earn an LPGA Tour card for the following season.
