Steph Kyriacou

Steph Kyriacou had a second round to remember at Royal Porthcawl in 2025 – nailing a hole-in-one at the par-3 8th.

The Australian grabbed a gap wedge from her bag and arrowed a tee shot directly at the flag. The ball pitched just centimetres from the cup before bouncing into the hole.

Not content with registering the first ace at the Championship since Brooke Henderson's in 2018, Steph closed out her Friday with an eagle on the par-5 18th to sign for a two-under 70.

She led heading into the final round of the 2024 Evian Championship and shared the lead heading to the 18th on Sunday but a Championship-winning eagle from Ayaka Furue denied Steph a shot at glory via a play-off.

She became only the 10th amateur to win on the Ladies European Tour when she triumphed by a massive eight strokes at the 2020 Australian Classic. It included a 63 in the second round, but did not go down as a Bonville course record since preferred lies were in operation.

She turned professional two days later and had more Tour success in July 2021 at the Big Green Egg Open in the Netherlands.

Steph was tied-seventh in the 2022 AIG Women's Open at Muirfield, having shared 13th place the previous year at Carnoustie.
