Stephanie Meadow

Winner of the Women’s Amateur in 2012 and a member of the Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup team both that year and in 2014. On the first occasion at Nairn she achieved the winning point in the 10 ½-9 ½ victory by beating Amy Anderson 4&2.

She also won her singles on her second appearance against Alison Lee, but that was in a six-point American triumph in St Louis. Won nine titles while at the University of Alabama, three more than the previous record there, and on turning professional after qualifying for the 2014 US Open she finished a stunning joint third, only three strokes behind winner Michelle Wie.

After representing Ireland in the 2016 Olympic Games she gained an LPGA Tour card the following year and this June she matched that best major finish from 2014 by claiming a share of third in the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
