Tiia Koivisto

Played football most of her childhood before taking up golf at 15.

Turned professional in 2016 and last May pulled off her first Ladies European Tour victory at the Jabra Open at the Evian Resort in France, where she produced a closing 66 and beat Australian Whitney Hillier with a birdie at the first play-off hole.

Yet to play in a major championship at the time, she had fellow Finn Sanna Nuutinen as her caddie for the shoot-out, Koivisto having carried Nuutinen’s bag when she won the LET Access Series.
