Earned one of the last three exemptions by finishing joint eighth in the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open at Dundonald Links in Ayrshire.

Daughter of the Asian Tour’s former Senior Tournament Director Wanchai Meechai, she turned professional in 2010 and has picked up titles on the Chinese, Taiwanese and Thai circuits and last year had her best finish in a major with joint 12thplace at the PGA Championship. Began last week with rounds of 69 and 65 and still had a chance to land her maiden LPGA Tour title until two late bogeys.
