Yuna Nishimura

A three-stroke winner of June’s Nichirei tournament on the Japan LPGA Tour, where she opened with a 65 and followed up with rounds of 68 and 66 for a 17-under-par total of 199.

It was her fifth success since joining the circuit at the end of 2019. A closing 65 gave her a maiden victory in the 2020 Mitsubishi Electric Hisako/Higuchi event and the following May she left Mone Inami three shots behind in the World Championship Salonpas Cup, one of the circuit’s majors.

September last year was really a month to remember too as she won back-to-back titles and climbed into the game’s top 40.
