Ariya Jutanugarn

Ariya Jutanugarn

Ariya Jutanugarn burst onto the scene in 2016 with a three-stroke victory in the AIG Women’s Open at Woburn, becoming the first Thai golfer male or female to win major honours.

Less than a year later she was top of the Rolex Rankings and in June 2018, by then a seven-time winner on the LPGA Tour, she added the US Women's Open to her trophy cabinet after a four-hole play-off with Kim Hyo-Joo.

Soon afterwards, Ariya held off Minjee Lee to win the Scottish Open at Gullane.

She finished third in the 2018 AIG Women’s Open and was back inside the top 10 in 2021.

Her last victory came alongside her sister Moriya at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational, a team event, in July 2021.

However, Ariya has enjoyed a return to form in majors in 2025, registering three top-10s in four events.
