Minjee Lee

Minjee Lee

Minjee Lee collected her third major title in just four years when she triumphed in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June.

The Australian finished on four-under-par – three strokes clear of Auston Kim and Chanette Wannasaen – at Fields Ranch East.

It allowed Minjee to add the PGA trophy to the Amundi Evian Championship and US Women’s Open crowns she won in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Minjee came from ten strokes back at halfway to win her first major, just two weeks after her younger brother Min Woo Lee had captured the Scottish Open.

They are both former US Junior champions while Minjee is also a former world number one amateur. She led Australia to victory in the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship in 2014, finishing second leading individual behind Brooke Henderson.

Another notable win for Minjee was the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea in October 2023. And she produced a career low 62 in the final round of the 2025 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in February to earn a share of fourth place.

Her best finish at the AIG Women's Open is third, which came at Royal Troon in 2020, while she also finished in the top five in 2021 and 2022.
