Auston Kim was not far away from winning her maiden major title in her first full season on the major circuit at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June.
Kim shot a four-under-par 68 on the final day to finish one-under-par to earn a share of second place, three shots behind the victorious Minjee Lee.
The American showed promise as a links player on her AIG Women’s Open debut last year, carding a two-under-par 70 in her third round before finishing T78.
She made her professional debut at the 2022 US Women’s Open, having twice featured in the championship as an amateur.
