Gina Kim heads to Royal Lytham & St Annes for the 50th AIG Women’s Open fresh from winning her first LPGA Tour event in June.

The 26-year-old won the Dow Championship – a team stroke play event – alongside Yana Wilson by two shots ahead of Kim Hyo-joo and Choi Hye-jin on 17-under-par.

The result marked her fifth professional victory after four wins on the Epson Tour.

The first of those came in 2022 at the Inova Mission Inn Resort and Club Championship before winning three times in 2025 – at the IOA Golf Classic, Copper Rock Championship and Hartford HealthCare Women's Championship.

Her best finish at major remains T12 at the US Women’s Open in 2019.
