Julia Lopez Ramirez

Julia Lopez Ramirez won the biggest title of her career to date in July 2023, overhauling the then leading player on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), Ingrid Lindblad, to win the European Ladies Amateur Championship.

Ingrid led with a round to play at Tegelberga Golfklubb in Sweden, but it was Mississippi State student Julia who prevailed by two shots from fellow Spaniard Carla Bernat Escuder.

This win subsequently earned Julia the right to play in the AIG Women’s Open – where she made the cut before finishing 72nd.

Julia – one of the longest hitters on tour – has played in the last three AIG Women's Opens, from 2023 to 2025, with her best finish being T29 at St Andrews in 2024.

Her best major finish to date is T19 at the 2025 US Women's Open.
