Nanna Koerstz Madsen

Nanna Koerstz Madsen was the joint third-round leader with Anna Nordqvist in the 2021 AIG Women’s Open, but it was the Swede who went on to win as Nanna finished tied for fifth.

She was one of three uncapped wildcards for the 2021 Solheim Cup in America and did not let captain Catriona Matthew down with a second-day fourball win alongside Carlota Ciganda against Jessica Korda and Megan Khang and then a singles half with Austin Ernst in Europe’s thrilling win.

Nanna beat Xiyu Janet Lin in sudden death in Thailand in March 2022 to become the first Danish winner on the LPGA Tour. Two weeks later, she was in another play-off, finishing runner-up to Jeeno Thitikul in the JTBC Classic.

She recorded a second top-10 finish at the AIG Women's Open at St Andrews in 2024 while her best major finish was T3 at the Chevron Championship in 2021, an event at which she finished T8 a year later.

The 31-year-old has also won the Symetra Classic, Fuccillo Kia Championship and Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic – all in 2017, as well as the Tipsport Golf Masters in 2016 and the A6 Ladies Open as an amateur in 2013.
