Pei-yun Chien recorded the best major finish of her career at the 2024 Evian Championship when she tied for 7th.

That result helped the three-time winner on the Symetra Tour book her place at St Andrews, as one of the top 25 players, not already exempt, on the LPGA Race to CME Globe Points List on 22 July.

Pei-yun made it to the AIG Women's Open in 2025 as one of 17 golfers to come through Final Qualifying at Pyle & Kenfig, sealing her place at Royal Porthcawl.
