Sara Kouskova qualified for the 2025 AIG Women’s Open by winning the Jabra Ladies Open at the Evia Resort Club in France in May.
“It’s what we’ve been working for,” said Kouskova on her ambition to play in golf’s biggest events. “We set it up as one of the goals, to try and get into a major this year. I’m very happy and I cannot wait to tee it up there.”
It was her maiden victory on the Ladies European Tour, coming just three years after she turned professional.
Kouskova finished on a ten-under-par score of 203, finishing two strokes clear of Shannon Tan.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a successful amateur career which included a victory in the Austrian International Amateur in 2015.
In October 2022 she became the first Czech female to top the LET Access Series Order of Merit, following three wins in as many months from July to September.
