Shiho Kuwaki won the 50th edition of the AIG Women's Open in dramatic fashion at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
The Japanese star came through a play-off with Esther Henseleit after the German holed a huge birdie putt on the 72nd hole.
Henseleit bogeyed the 18th while Shiho landed the biggest par putt of her life to clinch the title.
It was only Shiho’s second Championship appearance after making her debut at Royal Porthcawl in 2025.
She now has seven professional wins to her name, including the Japan LPGA Tour Championship Ricoh Cup, one of the Tour's four major championships, in 2024.
