Somi Lee won the Dow Championship alongside Jinhee Im – defeating Megan Khang and Lexi Thompson in a play-off – in June 2025.

It was Somi’s first win on the LPGA Tour, although she has registered five victories on the LPGA of Korea Tour.

She made her AIG Women’s Open debut at St Andrews in 2024, finishing T22, and will make her third straight Championship appearance at Royal Lytham & St Annes, qualifying by finishing 10th on the LPGA's 2025 Race to CME Globe Points List.
