Yan Liu recorded her first top-10 finish at a major when placing tied-ninth at this year's Chevron Championship.

She joined the LPGA Tour in 2023, having recorded four top-10 finishes on the Epson Tour in 2022.

She previously played on the Ladies European Tour after turning professional at the age of 19, but then returned to China and claimed her first title in Hong Kong in 2019.
