Liu is in her rookie season on the LPGA Tour, having recorded four top-10 finishes on the Epson Tour in 2022.

She previously played on the Ladies European Tour after turning professional at the age of 19, but then returned to China and claimed her first title in Hong Kong in 2019.

Ahead of her first year on the LPGA circuit, Liu said: “My strategy so far is to be a sponge and absorb everything I can from all the LPGA Tour professionals.”
