Ellie Gower recovered superbly from a shaky start to lead the 18 players who came through Pre-Qualifying for the AIG Women’s Open at The Buckinghamshire on Monday.
England's Gower was two-over-par after three holes, but combined eight birdies with just a solitary dropped shot thereafter to card a five-under 67.
Isabella Deilert of Sweden and the Australian pair of Amy Walsh and Kristalle Blum shared second place on three-under.

Final Qualifying will take place at Hankley Common on Monday 7 August, with a minimum of three players making it through to the AIG Women’s Open which starts at Walton Heath three days later.
