Darcey Harry set herself one target at the start of 2025 – to play at the AIG Women's Open on her home course of Royal Porthcawl.

That dream became a reality after the 22-year-old was victorious at the Hulencourt Women’s Open in Belgium, sealing a place at Porthcawl in the process.

Playing with boyfriend and 2024 Amateur Championship winner Jacob Skov Olesen as her caddie, Darcey finished three shots clear in the LET event in Belgium and the golfer from Dinas Powys, just outside Cardiff, sealed a dream major debut on home soil.

Darcey had the Welsh crowd purring, particularly on the Friday when she rolled home five birdies in nine holes before finishing in a tie for 40th place.
