Winner of the Doosan Match Play Championship on the Korea LPGA Tour in May, which lifted her to 78th on the Rolex Rankings following as it did two runner-up finishes last season.
It was her first victory on the circuit she joined only last year and was certainly earned the hard way.
She beat defending champion Min-ji Park at the first extra hole in the last 16, then had a last-green victory in the quarter-finals, went to the 20th in the semis and came from three down to win with a birdie on the 18th in the final against Ye-won Lee.
